This chainmaille bracelet is made with silver and purple anodized aluminum jump rings.
While it may look heavy being made of metal, anodized aluminum is very light weight and feels weightless on your wrist. Chainmaille takes the opening and closing of each individual jump ring, woven in a pattern to create the unique jewelry. It is incredibly time-consuming, but the results are always worth it.
The pattern in a combination of Byzantine and Persian to make what I like to call "barbed wire". Unlike barbed wire, it is very smooth and won't scratch. The bracelet is about 8 inches long and up to 1/2 an inch thick in some places (1/4 inch in others). It's made with a large silver plated steel lobster clasp.
