This chainmaille bracelet is made with bright blue and pink-purple colored anodized aluminum jump rings (anodized aluminum is very light weight). Chainmaille takes the opening and closing of each individual jump ring, woven in a pattern to create the unique jewelry. It is incredibly time-consuming, but the result is always worth it.
The pattern in a combination of Byzantine and Persian to make what I like to call "barbed wire". Unlike barbed wire, it is very smooth and won't scratch. The bracelet is 8 1/3 inch long and up to 1/2 an inch thick in some places (1/4 inch in others). I changed the clasp from the one in the picture (it was originally a barrel clasp) to a large silver plated lobster clasp because it's easier to put on. The improved bracelet is also longer than the one shown in the pictures, but the new length is correct in the description (just over 8 inches).
Because Chainmaille doesn't stretch, be sure to measure your wrist before buying. If you need it to be shorter or longer leave me a message in the buyer's comment section during check out. I can shorten it as much as you need and can add up to two more inches free of charge.
