This is one dark as night (all black) chainmail bracelet. It is done in the Persian design known as roundmaille. The texture is amazing, it reminds me of petting a snake in the way that the rings arranged like this make a smooth scale-like feel. It is 8 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inches thick. It's made from black 6mm anodized aluminum jump rings and a large sterling silver plated barrel clasp. Anodized aluminum is very light-weight.
Chainmaille takes the opening and closing of each individual jump ring, woven in a pattern to create the unique jewelry. It is incredibly time consuming, but the result is always worth it.
